The Epic Shit never seems to end. What the hell is this daMN crazy race. We have a 4 person team named the Thunderbolts that rode the race on August 1 starting at midnight.
Let’s meet the Thunderbolts: Jess Moen (very hardy but a touch weird) Katie Schaaf (very tough but quite the Smart Ass) Matt Appleman (my son-in-law cycling business dude and an all around mensch) and me Kevin Shriver ( nicest guy you’ll ever meet and CEO of Team Jackass)

It’s tough to train for this daMN thing but at least we had a relay team so we didn’t have to do the whole daMN thing. We did a 20 mile night training ride to test out lights and test out our sanity. Check for the lights; sanity we are still working on.
We are now super confident and have no fear. More posts to come.
