Tomaz is our gracious host but also our tough coach. We did a beautiful ride today and even went to Tadej Pogacar’s hometown, climbed 2300 feet all in 90 degree heat but according to Tomaz it didn’t count.
The real ride starts tomorrow with 6000 feet of climbing and 60 miles. Only 88 for a high. Maybe all the Slovenians are not that nice. Hoping for a Tadej blessing after being at shrine.
No dive diners or convenience stores tomorrow but we did see a vending machine with good looking sausages. Will show pictures tomorrow.
