In and out of Luck. Couldn’t stay away so Mr. John Farrell and I decided to ride to the Shriver Cabin north of Hayward. Made it to Luck WI today. 75 miles, 90 degrees and a dump motel. Just like it used to be.

We were blessed and ran into Ted, who you see above. Electric recumbent that looked like an unstable person wired it. This Dude was quite the guy. He has a farm near Milltown WI where he sells air Ballon rides. He says it’s getting tougher as there are no hayfields to land in anymore. He just drags the ballon through Tree Tops to slow him down.
He also actually lives in Thailand where he has 7 girlfriends. He did say one of them was just for Financial reasons. He flys out on November 6 and returns in May after the snow melts but before the grass is too high to find all the shit on the ground that he left in the fall.
John thought that Luck was the bomb as it was a short walk to Town where he had 3 Spotted Cows and then walked across street to have Prime Rib bigger than his head.

Great ride all the way around today. Good roads, good company and ending in a slightly preapocalyptic town.
Glad you are keeping up the tradition, Kevin. Cycling and eccentric characters are you trademark.
Best,
Mia
