9/25 83 miles from Port Rowan, Ontario to Port Colborne, Ontario. Hot again.
We had the best breakfast of the entire trip, at our B+B in Port Rowan. Raspberries from thier garden, a blueberry coffee cake the size of a loaf pan, and outstanding quiche. Started off the day well.

We actually saw a lot of Lake Erie today instead of the corn and soybeans we have been seeing. Erie was errie as it looked like glass, it was very warm and no one was around as the season was over.

The other interesting thing we saw along the Lake was the biggest coal fired power plant that I have ever seen. It had a 1/3 mile dock and conveyor that unloaded the coal from the lake. Right next to that was a nuclear power plant with Wind turbines and solar farms intermingled. Smart way to use all the interconnected power lines.

We continue to struggle for places to stay. I called numerous places and finally talked to Judith at the Talwood manor. She said she was booked and started to recommend places but then she said we could stay at her B+B. She just said she was exhausted and needed rest. She took 40$ off the price but said she wouldn’t provide breakfast. I told her she made SOTD (Savior of the Day). We have had way more of those vs. DOTD.
Hi Kevin, Glad I was up to say good bye. Thanks for the posting a comment about Talwood Manor B&B. So glad you and Mike had a restful cool sleep. Great picture by the way. Safe travels. Hope you can make it this way again so I provide a sumptuous breakfast…

I know hot is not fun, but I was worried about you hitting ‘too cold’ weather. So far, so good, it appears.
