Continental Divide

8/29 71 miles from West Glacier over the Continental Divide and down to Brown out Browning Mt. 45 up 26 down

Just when you get used to the Mountains they disappear. Peter suggest we stop and look westward and say goodbye to the Mountains.

Ate at 2 great places today. Mid-morning breakfast at the Izaak Walton hotel 1/2 between east and west Glacier. It’s drop dead cool and you can take Amtrak there.

We then got very lucky and ate at a great hippie restaurant in East Glacier called the Two Medicine Grill.  Peter was feeling a wee “peckish” and Kevin ordered a slice of Huckleberry pie from the dancing waitress.

Electra and Emily were a hoot.

100 miles on Hwy 2  tomorrow and on 2 for four days. Yikes!
